Updates!

Hey everybody!

So I thought I would give a few updates regarding the DCP and my decision to not participate last fall even though I was accepted.

I actually transferred schools the semester that I would have been at Disney. It's proven to be the best decision of my life so I'm so grateful I didn't do the program then.

BUT -- this means I can apply sooner than I had planned! I now go to a school where my mother is a professor so I get free tuition! If you remember, a main reason I didn't do my program was because my school was asking for full tuition - well not anymore!

So having said that, I have applied for the Spring program and I have gotten past the initial interview and the Web-Based Interview which meansssss...I GET TO DO THE PHONE INTERVIEW! I know a lot of people get stressed out about it but I honestly really enjoyed it the last time I did it. (Also it's the last step to the acceptance process, so how can you not be excited?)

So those are just some updates, not too much has happened but I am extremely happy with my decision to not do the program last fall, and if you're ever having the same issue I did then just write out the pros and cons and if the cons outweigh the pros then it's not worth it!
