Hello all!
So I made a post last year how I had applied to do the program in the Spring (now) but I ended up not doing the phone interview because I knew that it would be difficult for me to go. I just signed a new lease in September and I just didn't think it would work well and didn't want to have to pick between a rock and a hard place.
BUT! I have re-applied for Fall of 2016! This time, I was totally honest that I only wanted to do Fall and that FA wasn't even a second choice, I am a college junior and need to do an internship this summer.
I have a few questions though because something really weird happened when I applied this time. I submitted the application yesterday around 9 PM (I think) and before I went to sleep at midnight I had gotten an email that said they wanted me to schedule my phone interview. That may sound great and all (and it is)...but what happened to the Web Based Interview? I've never just skipped over that before. I thought maybe it was a mistake but I just scheduled my phone interview for February 19th. Has this happened to anyone else before? It seemed strange to me.
Also, can DCP participants live not in campus housing? I have two cats that I simply could not live without for five months (also I don't think my parents would be too happy to take them in with the two dogs they already have). I guess I also would wonder if we could have pets in the DCP housing (Vista Way, etc). Probably not but that would make things much easier.
Now that THAT long thing is over, I am really quite excited for my interview. But I am honestly a little worried that I won't get in or I will get a role I don't want like last time. I haven't even had my interview and I'm worrying about my results. *sigh*
